# Emissions

As a reward token, the $STREAM token naturally has a no cap on the supply. To consistently promote Listen-To-Earn & Stream-To-Earn while maintaining as a gas token, the $STREAM tokens should be available for the users in perpetuity. If the tokens are capped for rewards, theoretically the platform loses its value proposition. 

$STREAM gradually increases its supply by having emissions that are distributed to creators, listeners, a referral pool, and node holders\*

### **Participate in Emission Mining as a Node Holder**

As a node holder, to benefit from emissions mining, you will need to lock your MMT token. $STREAM will be mined based on the amount of $MMT locked. (Details TBA)
