Token Supply
Decentralizing the Token Supply through Buybacks and Burns
To make $MMT as decentralized as possible, MeMusic is introducing a buyback and burn program directly tied to Waves Node sales. Each Waves Node sale will contribute to the buyback pool, enabling the platform to purchase $MMT from the market and burn it, permanently reducing the circulating supply. This creates a deflationary effect, driving token scarcity and increasing long-term value for holders.
Furthermore, Waves Node holders will play an active role in managing the token supply in collaboration with the MeMusic team. By hitting key milestones, the platform will implement larger burns from reserve tokens, significantly reducing the maximum supply of $MMT and reinforcing its scarcity. This community-driven approach aligns with MeMusic’s goal to empower its users while fostering a robust and sustainable ecosystem.
Buyback and Burn Program for $MMT
To align with MeMusic’s vision of decentralization and value generation, a robust buyback and burn program will be introduced. This initiative will be tied directly to Waves Node sales milestones and will play a pivotal role in reducing the circulating and maximum supply of $MMT tokens, driving long-term scarcity and value.
Node Sales Milestones:
At key sales milestones—3,000, 5,000, 7,000, and 10,000 Waves Nodes—a significant portion of tokens allocated for team, marketing, and liquidity will be burned.
These burns will account for up to 200M $MMT tokens over the lifecycle of the program.
Community Involvement:
Waves Node holders will actively participate in controlling the token supply alongside MeMusic.
Regular updates will be provided to ensure transparency and community alignment.
Ongoing Buybacks:
A portion of revenue from Waves Node sales will be allocated to market buybacks of $MMT tokens.
Purchased tokens will be permanently burned, directly reducing the circulating supply.
Reserve Token Burns:
Upon hitting major milestones, larger burns from reserve tokens will be executed to drastically reduce the maximum supply.
This ensures that $MMT remains scarce and valuable over time.
