# FAQ

**Benefits of owning a Station Node?**

Station Nodes are designed to help the Stations & MeMusic ecosystem grow. As Node Holders, you can contribute to the growth of the platform while reaping the benefits of Station's growth. While having access to mining $MMT tokens, the Nodes can also enjoy NFT rewards, exclusive perks, and more. Recently, MeMusic has also announced its plan for Station Nodes to mine the $STREAM token, which is the ecosystem's reward token.

**Distribution & Vesting**

Our vesting schedule dictates that the tokens allocated for mining has a vesting schedule of 36 months. However, this does not mean that your tokens mined are vested for 36 months. The total allocation of 400M tokens is vested over 36 months. Consequently, there are \~370,370 tokens that are distributed/unlocked for the node holders on a daily basis.

**Token Claim**

Station Nodes started to premine MeMusic tokens on January 18th, 2024. All premined tokens before the listing period would be available for claim at TGE. Tokens that are being mined after the TGE will be available based on the date the token was mined in relativity from the mining start date to the listing date per the vesting schedule applied on tokens allocated for mining. Roughly, based on the listing date of $MMT tokens, there is a 30-day delay period for availability to claim on tokens that are mined after the listing date.

**Am I required to provide computational power?**

No, not necessarily. Station Nodes are designed to mine $MMT without the need of computational power, but have the benefits of engaging with Stations and reaping the benefits as a Node Holder.
